A Guru is not just someone who teaches in a classroom. Those who have guided for just one moment in life, those who have taught something small are also Gurus. A suitable guide to guide a person in life is Guru for that person.Thus we can give several interpretations of the position Guru. But only Guru's position is the greatest position. Everyone should respect that position. Last year on this auspicious day of Guru Purnima, I started the initiative of introducing and paying respect to my Guru. I would like to introduce you to my mentor who have guided me through my engineering education these year, recognized my hidden talent and encouraged me.

The great guru(teacher) whom I want to introduce is Mr. Rithesh Pakkala Sir. After I joined Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management, one day the students of the respective branches were assigned a mentor. I am a student of Information science and engineering branch. So when students were sorted and assigned to all the lecturers of this department, I got Mr. Rithesh Pakkala sir as my mentor.When Rithesh sir met all of his mentees including for the first time he asked for our introduction. Then he also gave his introduction. Another fact is that he is a senior student of Sahyadri College. He is also the best ranked student in the college. Before I joined Sahyadri College, I developed a habit of writing articles and used to write on my Facebook page. When I was studying in my first year I got the idea of ​​opening a blog page and publishing my articles on it, I used to share the link of those articles on my WhatsApp status. Rithesh sir, who used to read all the articles I wrote after noticing them, when I entered the second year of engineering studies, he was happy with my writing style and told me that I should write an article about the branch entry program of the department.I agreed to that. He was very happy to see it. I got good response to that article I wrote also, I got recognition in college. Starting from there, the practice of writing articles and reports related to some program held in the college, NSS camp has continued till now. The root cause of all this is my mentor Rithesh sir. I am not big enough to talk about Rithesh sir, I don't have that ability also. However, Rithesh sir is a disciplined soldier, either student or a lecturer,he speaks with respect to everyone. He is the mentor who trains the students properly. Ritesh sir is also a sportsman. A great cricketer too.He is the highest run-scoring batsman in the ISPL 2022 edition of our department's cricket tournament held last year. There are too many to say. 

It was my duty to recognize him as he identified a small talent that I had and nurture it. Rithesh sir will guide any student if he goes to him. So I decided to write an article about Rithesh sir on Guru Purnima this year. Which day could be better to pay tribute to Mahan Guru than Guru Purnima? On this auspicious Guru Purnima I wish all my Gurus "Happy Guru Purnima" and pay tributes to all of them.

ಸಾಧನೆಯ ಪಥದಲ್ಲಿ "ಕೀರ್ತಿ"ಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದ "ಪ್ರಸಾದ" "ಬೆಳೆಯುವ ಸಿರಿ ಮೊಳಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ" ಎಂಬ ಮಾತು ಬಹುಶಃ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೇಳುವುದು ಇರಬಹುದು. ಇವರು ಕೀರ್ತಿಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ಕಲ್ಲೂರಾಯ ಮಧೂರು. ಇನ್ನು 19 ವರ್ಷದ ಚಿರ ಯುವಕ. ವಯಸ್ಸು ಸಣ್ಣದಾದರು ಮಾಡಿದ ಸಾಧನೆ ಅದೆಷ್ಟೋ!ನಮ್ಮ ಗಡಿನಾಡಿನ ಕಾಸರಗೋಡಿನ ಮಧೂರು ಇವರ ಹುಟ್ಟೂರು. ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ವ್ಯಾಸಂಗ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಇವರು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಯಕ್ಷಾಭಿಮಾನಿಯು ಹೌದು. ವಿವಿಧೆಡೆ ದೇವರ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮವಾಹಕರಾಗಿಯು ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ಇವರು ಅದೆಷ್ಟೋ ಕಡೆ ದೇವರ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.  ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನದ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಇವರ ನಂಟು: ತನ್ನ ಪೂಜ್ಯ ತೀರ್ಥರೂಪರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಉದಯ ಕಲ್ಲೂರಾಯರಿಂದ ಬಾಲ್ಯದಲ್ಲೇ ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನ ಕಲಿತ ಇವರು ಕೇವಲ 5ನೇ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಿರೀಟ ಬಾಲ ವೇಷ ಹಾಕುತ್ತಾರೆ.ನಂತರ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನ ಕಲಾವಿದರು,ಯಕ್ಷಗುರುಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಕೇಶ್ ರೈ ಅಡ್ಕ ಅವರಿಂದ ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನ ನಾಟ್ಯ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸ ಮಾಡುವ ಇವರು ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನ ಬಯಲಾಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ 11ನೇ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಿಷಾಸುರ ಸೇರಿ ಹಲವಾರು ಪಾತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ತಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಯವರಿಂದ ಹಾಗು ಕಟೀಲು ಮೇಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಘವ ಬಲ್ಲಾಳ್ ಇವರಿಂದ ಮುಮ್ಮೇಳದ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಹಿಮ್ಮೇಳದ ಚೆಂಡೆ,ಮದ್ದಳೆಯನ್ನು ಸಹ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸ ಮಾಡಿ ಅದೆಷ್ಟೋ ಕಡೆ ಯಕ್ಷಮಾತೆಯ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.  ದೇವರ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮವಾಹಕರಾಗಿ ಇವ

  ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ನಮ್ಮ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಹೀಗೊಂದು ಭರ್ಜರಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ!   ಇದು ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕನ್ನಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಅತಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಇಂಜನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು!ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಇದು! ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು-ಮಂಗಳೂರು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಸುವಾಗ ಅಡ್ಯಾರ್ ಎಂಬಲ್ಲಿ ಎಡಕ್ಕೆ ನೋಡಿದರೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕ್ಯಾಂಪಸ್ ಕಾಣಸಿಗುತ್ತದೆ. ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕನ್ನಡದ ಜೀವನದಿ,ಪವಿತ್ರವಾದ ನೇತ್ರಾವತಿ ನದಿಯ ಕಿನಾರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ,ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯದ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಇರುವ ಈ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಬೇರೆ ಯಾವುದು ಅಲ್ಲ,ಅದುವೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಹ್ಯಾದ್ರಿ ಇಂಜನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ಹಾಗು ಮ್ಯಾನೇಜ್‌ಮೆಂಟ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು! ಸಹ್ಯಾದ್ರಿ ಅರ್ಥಾತ್ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಘಟ್ಟ! ಈ ಕಾಲೇಜು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಕ್ಷರಶಃ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಘಟ್ಟವೇ! ಹೇಗೆ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಘಟ್ಟ ನಮ್ಮ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಭಾರತದ ನೈಸರ್ಗಿಕ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲವೋ,ಹಲವು ನದಿಗಳ ಉಗಮ ಸ್ಥಾನವೋ ಅದೇ ರೀತಿ ಸಹ್ಯಾದ್ರಿ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಜ್ಞಾನ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ,ಭಾರತದ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ,ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷ ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಉತ್ಪಾದಿಸುವ,ಸಾವಿರಾರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡುವ ವಿದ್ಯಾದೇಗುಲವಾಗಿದೆ. ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯವನ್ನು ತನ್ನೊಡನೆ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಕಾರಣ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಜನೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಇದು ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತ ಸ್ಥಳ! ಇಂತಹ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದು ಅದರ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾದ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ವಿಜ್ಞಾ
