 Bonda Factory-A must visit place for Tender Coconut and Icecream lovers!  It is a picturesque place on the outskirts of Mangaluru on the bank of liferiver of Dakshina Kannada district River Nethravathi on Mangaluru-Tumkur N.H.73. Here there is constant wind blowing 24 hours a day. This place is none other than Adyar on the outskirts of Mangaluru. When you come here you can't forgot tender coconut (" ಬೊಂಡ" or " ಎಳನೀರು" in Kannada ). The reason is the Bonda factory of Naturals, a famous ice cream company located here!  Yes friends, Naturals' ice cream manufacturing unit is located in Adyar, Mangaluru. It is located just 1 km away from my college so my friends used to visit there often. The reason is that here you get  tender coconut water at very reasonable price and delicious tender coconut ice cream.   ಬೊಂಡ ಪ್ರಿಯರು ಭೇಟಿ ಕೊಡಲೇ ಬೇಕಾದ ಸ್ಥಳ ಈ ಬೊಂಡ ಫ್ಯಾಕ್ಟರಿ!   ಇದು ಮಂಗಳೂರು-ತುಮಕೂರು ರಾ.ಹೆ 73ರ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕನ್ನಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಜೀವಾನದಿ ನೇತ್ರಾವತಿಯ ದಂಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಹೊರವಲಯದ ರಮಣೀಯವಾದ ಸ್ಥಳ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ದಿನದ 24 ತಾಸುಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಹ ನಿರಂತರ ಗಾಳಿ ಬೀಸುತ್ತಾ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಸ್ಥಳ ಬೇರೆ ಯಾವುದು ಅಲ್ಲ,ಅದುವೇ ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಹೊರವಲಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಆಡ್ಯಾರ್. ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ನಿಮಗೆ ಬೊಂಡ(ಎಳನೀರು) ನೆನಪಾಗದೆ ಇರಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಕಾರಣ ಇಲ್ಲೆ ಇರುವ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಐಸ್ಕ್ರೀಂ ಕಂಪೆನಿಯಾದ ನ್ಯಾಚುರಲ್ಸ್ ಅವರ ಬೊಂಡ ಫ್ಯಾಕ್ಟರಿ! ಹೌದು ಗೆಳೆಯರೇ, ನ್ಯಾಚುರಲ್ಸ್ ಅವರ ಐಸ್ಕ್ರೀಂ ತಯಾರಿಕಾ ಘಟಕ ನಮ್ಮ ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಅಡ್ಯಾರಿನಲ್ಲೇ ಇದೆ. ಇದು ನನ್ನ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಿಂದ ಕೇವಲ 1 ಕಿ.ಮಿ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದುರಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಗೆಳೆಯರು ಆಗಾಗಾ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದರು. ಕಾರಣ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಬೆಲಿಗೆ ಸಿಗುವ ಬೊಂಡ ನೀರು ಹಾಗು ರುಚಿಯಾದ ಬೊಂಡ ಐಸ್ಕ್ರೀಂ. ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರಿಂದ ಈ ಫ್ಯಾಕ್ಟರಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕೇವಲ ಕೇಳಿ ಗೊತ್ತಿದ್ದ ನನಗೆ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಸೇರಿ ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷ ಕಳೆದರು ಹೋಗುವ ಅವಕಾಶ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಹೋಗಲು ನನಗೆ ಜೊತೆಯಾಗಿ ಯಾರು ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಹಾಗು ನನಗೆ ಸಮಯ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಫ್ಯಾಕ್ಟರಿಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ಕೊಡಬೇಕು ಎಂಬ ಆಸೆ ನನಗೂ ಇತ್ತು. ಇಂದು ಅಚಾನಕ್ ಆಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಗೆಳೆಯನ ಬಳಿ "ಬೊಂಡ ಫ್ಯಾಕ್ಟರಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವನಾ?" ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದೆ. ಕೂಡಲೇ ಒಪ್...
