  A Gem Hidden in the Foothills of Netravati Peak: The Bolle Falls Trek Experience!   Sunday!     ನೇತ್ರಾವತಿ ಶಿಖರದ ತಪ್ಪಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಡಗಿರುವ ಮಾಣಿಕ್ಯ: ಬೊಳ್ಳೆ ಜಲಪಾತದ ಚಾರಣ ಅನುಭವ!   ಆದಿತ್ಯವಾರ! ವಾರದ ಆರು ದಿನ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿ ವಾರದ ರಜಾದಿನದಂದು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಬಿಡುವು ಪಡೆದು ನೆಮ್ಮದಿ ಪಡೆಯಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಆಲೋಚನೆ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ! ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಥವ ಹೊರಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಿಗಾದರೂ ಹೋಗಿ ಸಮಯ ಕರೆಯಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳು ಇರುತ್ತದೆ. ಇಂತಹ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಪಯಣ ಸಾಗಿದ್ದು ಬೊಳ್ಳೆ ಜಲಪಾತದ ಕಡೆಗೆ! ಸೋಮವಾರದಿಂದ ಶನಿವಾರ ತನಕ ಬಿಡುವು ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ನನ್ನ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ, ಇತರೇ ಕೆಲಸಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಬಸವಳಿದ್ದ ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಗೆ ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಇಂತಹ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲು ನೆನಪಾಗುವುದು ಪ್ರಕೃತಿ ಮಾತೆಯನ್ನು! ನಾವು ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿಕೊಂಡು ಏನೇನೋ ಮಾಡಲು ಹೊರಡುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಕೊನೆಗೆ ಅದು ದುಶ್ಚಟಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿದ್ದರೂ ತೊಂದರೆಯಿಲ್ಲ ಎನ್ನುವ ಮಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ! ಆದರೆ ಪ್ರಕೃತಿ ಮಾತೆಯೇ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿರಬೇಕಲ್ಲ! ಇರಲಿ,ಹೀಗೆ ಪ್ರಕೃತಿ ಮಾತೆಯನ್ನು ನೆನಪಾದಾಗ ಒಂದೋ ನನ್ನ ಊರಾದ ಕುಕ್ಕೆ ಸುಬ್ರಹ್ಮಣ್ಯ ಸಮೀಪದ ಹರಿಹರಪಲ್ಲತ್ತಡ್ಕಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದೆರಡು ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳೆದೋ ಅಥವ ಅವಕಾಶ ಸಿಕ್ಕರೆ ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಒಂದೆರಡು ಚಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆ. ಇಂದು ಅಂತಹ ಒಂದು ಉತ್ತಮ ಅವಕಾಶ ನನ್ನ ಪಾಲಿಗೆ ಒದಗಿ ಬಂತು! ಬೊಳ್ಳೆ ಜಲಪಾತ ಇದು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಅಪರಿಚಿತ ಸ್...

  ಚಾರಣಿಗರ ಸ್ವರ್ಗ ಕುಮಾರ ಪರ್ವತ: ಭಕ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಹಸದ ಅವಿಸ್ಮರಣೀಯ ಸಂಗಮ ಕುಮಾರ ಪರ್ವತ! ಇದು ನಮ್ಮ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕನ್ನಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಚಿರಪರಿಚಿತ ಹೆಸರು! ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲ! ಸುಬ್ರಹ್ಮಣ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವವರಿಗೆ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಹಿಂಬದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣಸಿಗುವ ಬೆಟ್ಟ ಯಾವುದು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಹೇಳುವುದು ಕುಮಾರ ಪರ್ವತ(ಆದರೆ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಅದು ಶೇಷ ಪರ್ವತ) ಎಂದು! ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಸುಬ್ರಹ್ಮಣ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಹೋದವರಿಗೆ ಕುಮಾರ ಪರ್ವತ ಚಿರಪರಿಚಿತ ಹೆಸರು. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಚಾರಣಪ್ರಿಯರಿಗೆ ಅಂತು ಇದು ಸ್ವರ್ಗ! ಎಷ್ಟು ಸಲ ಚಾರಣ ಮಾಡಿದರೂ ಮತ್ತೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ತನ್ನ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಚಾರಣ ಪ್ರಿಯರನ್ನು ಸೆಳೆಯುವ ಶಿಖರವಿದು! ನೋಡಲು ಎಷ್ಟು ಸುಂದರವೋ ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಕಠಿಣವಿರುವ ಚಾರಣವಿದು!   ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಮೊದಲು ಸುಬ್ರಹ್ಮಣ್ಯದಿಂದ ಕುಮಾರಪರ್ವತಕ್ಕೆ ಚಾರಣ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೆ. ಆ ಬಳಿಕ ಬದಲಾದ ನಿಯಮಗಳಿಂದಾಗಿ ಕುಮಾರ ಪರ್ವತ ಚಾರಣವೂ ಕೇವಲ ಒಂದೇ ದಿನಕ್ಕೆ ಸೀಮಿತಗೊಂಡಿತು. ಸುಬ್ರಹ್ಮಣ್ಯ ಭಾಗದಿಂದ ಹೋಗುವುದಾದರೂ ಒಂದೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಮಾರ ಪರ್ವತ ಹತ್ತಿ ಇಳಿಯಲೇ ಬೇಕು. ಗಿರಿಗದ್ದೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಟ್ಟರಮನೆ ಅಥವ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಚೆಕ್ ಪೋಸ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ರಾತ್ರಿಯ ವೇಳೆ ತಂಗುವ ಹಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಈ ನಿಯಮದಿಂದಾಗಿ ಸುಬ್ರಹ್ಮಣ್ಯ ಭಾಗದಿಂದ ಹತ್ತಿ ಇಳಿಯುವುದು ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಕಠಿಣಗೊಂಡಿದೆ.   ಈ ಕುಮಾರ ಪರ್ವತ ಚಾರಣವಿದೆಯಲ್ಲ, ಇದು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಚಾರಣವಲ್ಲ! ಯಾವುದೇ ಮೋಜು ಮಸ್ತಿ ಮಾಡಲು ಚಾರಣ ಮಾಡುತ...
